Around noon on the 23rd, a 10-story commercial building in the center of the city of Abadan in southwestern Khuzestan suddenly collapsed, according to Iran's state media.

So far, 11 people have been confirmed dead and 32 have been injured.

The building was just completed recently and contained offices and commercial facilities, but it is not clear how many people were inside the building at that time.

In the field, rescue operations are continuing while removing the debris, saying that some people may still be left behind under the debris of the building.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse, suspecting that more floors were being built in the collapsed building than required.
