Two years ago, African-American George Floyd was killed by a police officer in Minneapolis, suffocated by the knee of the officer who had tackled him to the ground.

“

I can't breathe

 ” – “

I can't breathe

” – these were his last words during his slow agony which lasted 7 minutes and 46 seconds.

His death sparked an unprecedented movement in the United States and elsewhere in the world.

Two years later, what is the situation of blacks in Minneapolis?

The American press investigated.

And according to the

Washington Post

Officially, it was a question of securing a “

politically and economically unstable

” country, but in truth, it was Wall Street, the banking sector and in particular the National City Bank of New York which pushed the American government to invade Haiti.

The United States left the country bloodless, with most peasants living in near starvation state, according to a 1949 UN report.
