Eight people were accused in this case: the general director of the shopping center Nadezhda Suddenok, the head of the company - the owner of the shopping center ("Kemerovo confectionery plant") Yulia Bogdanova, the technical director of this company Georgy Sobolev, the head of the fire-fighting system in the shopping center of the company "System Integrator" Igor Polozinenko, engineer fire fighting system Alexander Nikitin, private security company employee Sergei Antyushin, head of fire extinguishing at Zimnaya Cherry Andrey Bursin and head of the fire guard Sergei Genin.

Yulia Bogdanova, who was sentenced to 14 years in prison, received the longest term, while the state prosecution requested 14.5 years in prison.
