The official list was published late Monday afternoon on the website of the Ministry of the Interior.

In Ille-et-Vilaine, 98 candidates will stand for the legislative elections to be held on Sunday 12 and 19 June.

They will run for a deputy seat in one of the department's eight constituencies.

It is in the 7th constituency, that of Saint-Malo, that the candidacies are the most numerous with no less than 17 lists on the starting line.

In the 1st and 8th, two Rennes constituencies, things are also jostling with fourteen candidates in the running.

In the last legislative elections in 2017, La République en Marche won six constituencies, with the UDI and LR sharing the other two.

Four outgoing, including a defector, for the presidential majority

As for the marchers, three outgoing deputies are candidates for re-election: Florian Bachelier, first quaestor of the National Assembly, who is standing in the 8th, Laurence Maillart-Méhaignerie in the 2nd (Rennes) and Christine Cloarec-Le Nabour in the 5th (Glazed).

In the 6th district (Fougères), the outgoing UDI deputy Thierry Benoit will also wear the colors of the presidential majority.

Socialist Claudia Rouaux, who became a deputy after the death of François André, will try to keep the 3rd constituency (Rennes) under the label of the New Popular, Ecological and Social Union (Nupes).

Finally, in the 7th district (Saint-Malo), Jean-Luc Bourgeaux (LR), who took over from Gilles Lurton after the latter's resignation, will also put his chair back in play.
