• Sports Ferrari gives in to Verstappen and Alonso reacts in Montmeló

Formula 1 driver Sebastian Vettel has had to put his chasing skills to use but on a circuit far removed from the one he is used to when using his car on the track.

This Monday morning he suffered a robbery at the doors of the hotel where he was staying with his family after participating this weekend in the Montmeló Grand Prix.

Some thieves took advantage of the fact that the pilot's handbag was left in a car with the doors open to take it carelessly, in one of those thefts so common among tourists.

Inside the stolen handbag there weren't many valuables, beyond the pilot's documentation, but it had inside a wireless headset with a geolocator that has allowed Vettel to get on an electric scooter to try to hunt down the robbers.

With the help of his phone and the geolocator of the headphones, the Aston Martin driver has followed the trail of the handbag towards the center of the city, as reported by 'El Periódico de Catalunya' and sources confirmed to this medium police.

He also contacted the police who also started the chase and unsuccessfully tried to dissuade the pilot from continuing.

Finally, in a store they have found the headphones, since, presumably, the thieves have left them forgotten after verifying that they could be tracked by GPS.

That was the end of the race for Vettel and his adventure in Barcelona.

The agents continue with the search for the handbag and the rest of its contents after receiving the corresponding complaint, in addition to initiating an investigation to catch the authors.
