The National Assembly Budget Settlement Special Committee held a budget adjustment subcommittee today (23rd) to review the increase or decrease of the second supplementary budget bill to compensate for COVID-19 losses for small business owners and the self-employed.
Earlier, the second supplementary budget was increased by 4.765 trillion won in the preliminary examination by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.
In the second half of the debate, issues such as the retroactive application of loss compensation claimed by the Democratic Party and the government's 7 trillion won restructuring of expenditure are expected to become issues.
When the so-called screening is completed, the Preliminary Committee will hold a plenary meeting on the 26th and 27th to decide on the second supplementary budget.
