In Europe, more than 120 cases of monkeypox have been confirmed so far, and the UK health authorities are increasing caution in each country, such as requiring people living with patients to be quarantined for 21 days.

British health officials said yesterday that 37 new cases of monkeypox have been identified.

This brings the total number of confirmed patients in the United Kingdom to 57.

According to the ECDC = Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Europe, 67 cases have been confirmed in 9 countries including Spain, Portugal, Germany and Sweden by the 23rd.

In most cases, the symptoms are mild.

Countries are becoming more cautious about the increase in patients, of which the UK health authorities are calling for voluntary quarantine for 21 days, saying that people living with patients may have been infected.

On the other hand, ECDC has also expressed the view that people who have close contact with patients should be followed up for 21 days for symptoms, and will continue to monitor the situation.
