Energy and food problems will be solved by the US and Japan jointly

The reason for the unification of the efforts of the two countries was a sharp deterioration in the situation in these areas in connection with the conduct of a special operation in Ukraine.

"Japan and the United States will cooperate in solving these problems," the prime minister said.

Earlier, Joe Biden supported Japan's aspirations to become a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
