At a summit meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida held today (23rd), U.S. President Joe Biden expressed support for Japan's entry into a permanent seat on the UN Security Council, Japanese public broadcaster NHK reported.



According to reports, during the meeting, the two leaders shared the need for Security Council reform, and President Biden expressed his support for Japan to assume a permanent seat when the Security Council reform is realized.
