“Issues of cooperation in the energy and electric power industry were considered by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Tajikistan Usmonali Usmonzoda and Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov, who called for supporting Russia's participation in the Coordination Electricity Council of Central Asian countries as a full member,” the source said.

It is also reported that during the meeting between Shulginov and the Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma, the work of the joint venture Sangtudinskaya HPP-1 and issues of trouble-free operation of energy systems in Central Asia were discussed.
