Large parts of central Lund were closed on Saturday to make room for the carnival train.

Many came early to get a good place along the procession road.

When the train started from Lundagård, half an hour later than promised, it was with dancing, spex and cool rhythms.

The sky was several shades of gray but not even the weather forecast, which promised rain, was true this Saturday afternoon in the carnival city of Lund.

There were only a few drops.
