“I spoke with the leader of the opposition and congratulated him on his victory,” TASS quoted him as saying.
During his speech, Morrison emphasized that "the responsibility for both the victories of the party and its defeat lies with him."
He also spoke about his intention to resign as head of the party.
Earlier, the Slovenian center-left party "Freedom Movement" by Robert Golob won the parliamentary elections in the republic with 34.54% of the vote.
