Distributed to the needy
The church collects food that various food chains and entrepreneurs can no longer sell.
Then they are repackaged in different help boxes and distributed to those who need them.
For this work, they now receive this year's environmental award from Mora municipality.
- It feels gratifying and honoring to receive this award and it feels extra nice that it is municipal residents who have nominated us, says pastor Helena Fransson.
The prize will be awarded on June 6 and consists of SEK 10,000.
