Despite rain and debris, thousands of vehicle enthusiasts gathered in central Borgholm on Saturday to look at car shows with old and heavier vehicles.
This year is the 10th anniversary of the cruising and in connection with that they celebrated a little extra down by the harbor in Borgholm where a drive-in wedding was arranged.
- Since it is a 10-year anniversary, we thought it would be fun to celebrate with a drive-in wedding.
The difference between a church wedding and a drive-in is that those who do this get to do what they love most.
You love each other, you love your car, you love what you do and then you do it this way, says Eva Wahlgren who is a bourgeois wedding planner in Borgholm municipality.
Will the drive-in wedding return next year?
- If the organizer wants it this way, we will of course line up and do it again next year, says Eva Wahlgren.
