Earlier it was reported that a protocol was drawn up against Shevchuk on publicly discrediting the use of the Russian Armed Forces due to statements during a concert in Ufa.

“When drawing up the protocol, Yuri Shevchuk refused to give explanations in the case of an administrative offense,” RIA Novosti quoted Peredruk as saying.

On March 4, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law criminalizing dissemination of false information about the Russian Armed Forces and calls for anti-Russian sanctions.
