“The Investigative Committee of Russia will record and investigate the facts of mortar shelling by Ukrainian security forces on May 19, 2022 of the border villages of Alekseevka and Dronovka in the Kursk region,” the ministry said in a statement.
Investigators will establish all the circumstances of the commission of these crimes and the persons involved.
Earlier, the governor of the region Roman Starovoit said that the villages of Alekseevka and Dronovka in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region were subjected to mortar fire by the Ukrainian military.
