See the record attempt: Here, 552 bark boats are tipped down into the Nyköpingsån river

Fourth graders from the entire Nyköping municipality are invited to the race every year, organizers are Sörmland's museum and Nyköping municipality.

The record attempt was documented and will now be sent to the record book's headquarters for assessment.

Before the competition, each student gets to carve their own boat during the handicraft lesson and the manufacturers of the five boats that first cross the finish line at the height of the NK villa and Nyköpingshus win SEK 2,000 each.

Money earmarked for each class fund.
