Patient became violent in the emergency room - splashed blood in the eye of a doctor

The woman handed out kicks that hit a nurse in the ribs and she tried to inflict blows on a doctor.

- Then she pulled out a needle that she had in her arm and splashed out blood that hit another doctor in the eye, says Patric Fors, the police's spokesperson for Region South.

The woman was taken into custody

According to Smålandsposten, the woman was one of five people who were taken by ambulance to hospital after they became ill from suspected drugs.

That information is not something that the police want to confirm.  

- I can not go into any such details in the case, says Patric Fors. 

The woman has been taken into care and handed over to another care facility.

She is now suspected of assault, attempted violence against an official and attempted aggravated assault.
