Mishustin noted the use of the dollar and the euro as an element of political blackmail

In this regard, Mishustin noted the importance of expanding the use of national currencies in mutual settlements within the Commonwealth.

According to him, this is "especially relevant, since the dollar and the euro are increasingly being used as an instrument of political pressure and economic blackmail."

Earlier, the director of the fourth department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Denis Gonchar, spoke about the transition to settlements in national currencies with Armenia and Azerbaijan.
