Mishustin called anti-Russian sanctions an attempt to maintain the illusion of US dominance in the world

He stated this at a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government.

) goal is to limit our national sovereignty, destroy the foundations of the state, at any cost maintain the illusion of dominance of the United States and the collective West in global politics and the economy, obtain non-competitive advantages for themselves, under no circumstances allow the establishment of a system of fair and equal interstate relations, and most importantly, to subjugate those who do not agree with such claims to hegemony, ”TASS quotes him as saying.

Mishustin also noted that the West unleashed a real economic war against Russia.

Earlier, Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that the West seeks to break the back of the Russian economy and isolate the country.
