The Marine Museum in Karlskrona is currently cleaning among its large collection. Among other things, they have found seven similar portraits of Queen Victoria. - It is often about us having things that are overrepresented, many things of the same thing, says Lina Mårtensson, curator at the museum.
The items that are thinned out will for a while be displayed at the museum to later go on sale at auction.
- We have 50,000 items in our collection alone.
Then it is important to review the selection that is available so everything is justified to be here, says Lina Mårtensson.
