On May 19, at the "Symposium on East-West Think Tanks and Human Rights Development in China" held by China News Service, Bo Xiwen, a German expert on China and former director of the European and International Affairs Department of Hesse, Germany, said that the former German Chancellor "In international politics, human rights and democracy don't really matter. The real motivation behind them is power and interest," Willy Brandt's chief adviser Barr said in a speech.

Bo Xiwen pointed out that these views coincide with the comments of the famous German sinologist Luo Meijun.

Luo Meijun once said that as early as the 1990s, American think tanks proposed that in order to contain the further development of China's economy, the tool of human rights should be used to isolate China.

Bo Xiwen said that this shows that the United States is not interested in human rights at all.

The U.S. and its allies just use this as an excuse to promote and smear. Their real purpose is to pursue U.S. interests and to dominate the world.
