President Yoon Seok-yeol and US President Joe Biden headed to their homes and lodgings, respectively, after visiting Samsung's semiconductor factory in Pyeongtaek.

With this, the official schedule for the first day of President Biden's visit to Korea has come to an end.

President Biden boarded a helicopter in Pyeongtaek and got off at the heliport in front of the Yongsan Presidential Office at around 8:45 this evening.

He then drove to his accommodation, the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Yongsan-gu.

It is known that President Yoon also used a helicopter and got off at the same place with a time difference.

The heliport in front of the Yongsan Government Complex was originally under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of National Defense, and it was transferred to the Presidential Office at 00:00 on the 10th, when President Yoon's term began.

The two leaders are expected to rest on the night of the 20th without any additional schedule.

President Biden will start the second day of his official itinerary in Korea by visiting the Seoul National Cemetery tomorrow afternoon.

Afterwards, he will hold a summit meeting with President Yoon at the Yongsan Government Complex.
