Ankara says Sweden supplied weapons to terrorists who attacked Turkey

This statement was made by the head of the public relations department of the presidential administration, Fakhrettin Altun.

Responding to the words of Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde that Stockholm recognizes the PKK as a terrorist organization, he accused her of lying.

“This is disinformation in the name of fighting disinformation.

Sweden is making no effort to stop the ongoing propaganda, fundraising and recruitment of the PKK.

Sweden also armed terrorists who carried out attacks, in particular suicide bombings, in Turkey,” Altun said on Twitter.

He addressed Linda with the words “Honesty is the best policy.

You look us in the eye and keep lying.”

According to Erdgan, Turkey will continue to fight the PKK and its offshoots, despite the support they receive from the United States and Europe.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry noted that the Turkish people are asking the country's leadership to block the entry of Finland and Sweden into NATO because of the support of some NATO members for the PKK.
