This Friday in the early morning around 5:30 a.m., a pedestrian lost his life on the D824 road, near the town of Mées, reports
Sud-Ouest.
He was hit by several vehicles traveling at high speed on this dual carriageway, in the direction of Saint-Geours-de-Maremne towards Dax.
The emergency services could only note the death of the victim when they arrived on the spot.
The identification could not yet be carried out.
The investigation was entrusted to the Dax gendarmerie brigade.
A diversion was put in place while the emergency vehicles intervened, until around 7:15 a.m.
