Sores, rashes and fever are signs of monkey pox.
During the corona pandemic, several outbreaks occurred in African countries and during the spring, an unusual number of cases of smallpox have been found in Europe, more than 40 cases have recently been detected in Spain and Portugal.
Cases have also recently been discovered in the United Kingdom and the United States.
On Wednesday, the Public Health Agency went out and told that one person had been confirmed infected with smallpox and that several were being investigated.
On Thursday, the Montreal Public Health Agency announced that 17 cases of smallpox were being investigated in and around Montreal, Canada.
The cases must have been discovered at clinics that work with sexually transmitted diseases and the people who are investigated are mainly men who have had sex with men.
