The solar cell park at E20 at Härad in Strännäs municipality was built in 2020. Then it became the largest in the country.

After that, larger parks have been built in the country, but with the ongoing expansion, the facility is expected to be Sweden's largest again.

The price tag on the park, which the owner HSB is responsible for, is estimated at around SEK 50 million, but the high electricity price means that the park will quickly pay for itself, says Johan Skördare.

- But you do not really expect to earn, but this is HSB Sörmland's way of supplying its own electricity use, he says

Small natural impact

The impact on nature will not be as great if you compare it with other renewable energy sources, says Johan Skördare.

- If you do not want to keep the solar cells, you just have to pull up the piles and use the land for what you want, he says.
