China News Service, May 19. According to the WeChat official account of the Chinese Embassy in Italy, according to the current epidemic situation and the mutation characteristics of the Omicron mutant strain, from May 20, 2022, all personnel departing from Italy to China (regardless of whether or not vaccinated or vaccinated), it is necessary to complete the cross-over "double nucleic acid" test and the antigen test within 12 hours within 48 hours before boarding.

"Double nucleic acid" needs to be carried out at different designated institutions of the embassy and consulate, and the last nucleic acid test sampling must be completed within 24 hours before boarding.

Antigen testing needs to be completed at the institutions designated by the embassies and consulates in Italy or qualified testing institutions in major Italian airports.

  At the same time, the Chinese embassies and consulates in Italy have made the following adjustments to the requirements for applying for health codes:

  1 ► Cancellation of the first nucleic acid test 7 days before boarding for passengers going to China;

  2 ► Cancellation of serum IgM antibody (including N protein) test (regardless of whether or not vaccinated or vaccinated);

  3 ► For those with a history of previous infection, the requirement for lung imaging in the recovery pre-trial materials is cancelled.

After completing the health monitoring for 6 weeks, there is no need for cross nucleic acid testing and 14-day health monitoring requirements;

  4 ► The closed-loop management requirement for enterprise personnel before boarding has been adjusted from 21 days to 10 days;

  5 ► Those who care about landing crew members (including marine operations or maintenance, cruise ships, freighters and other shipboard staff) are no longer required to be quarantined for 14 days, and can be tested according to the requirements of ordinary passengers going to China.

  In addition to the above adjustments, other health code application requirements remain unchanged. For the latest process, please refer to the "Notice on Specific Requirements for Individuals Departing to China to Apply for Health Codes" on the embassy website.

The embassies and consulates in Italy will dynamically adjust relevant measures according to the changes in the epidemic situation.

Those who go to China must do a good job in pre-departure protection and self-health monitoring, so as to avoid the risk of staying or importing after entering the country due to a positive test before boarding.
