Oreshkin commented on the situation with unemployment in Russia

He said this while speaking at the New Horizons educational marathon.

He is quoted by RIA Novosti. 

“The unemployment situation is now completely manageable,” Oreshkin said.

He also mentioned that there are local layoffs at some enterprises, but the jump in unemployment, as was the case at the height of the pandemic, was avoided.

Earlier, Oreshkin expressed confidence that inflation in Russia by the end of 2022 would not exceed 15%.
