He added that sanctions against Russia would lead Western countries to "devastating consequences" for their economies.

“You will have to answer to your own taxpayers and voters for the consequences of this policy in your domestic markets,” concluded Nebenzya. 

Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called the anti-Russian sanctions of the West “effective only on paper”.
