In accordance with the established criteria, spouses under the age of 35 inclusive can count on state compensation of 30% of the cost of purchased housing, and if there are children, as well as for single parents under the age of 36 inclusive, the amount of compensation increases to 35%.

At the same time, in recent years, as Orlov noted, Russia and its citizens are experiencing economic pressure from Western states.

Under these conditions, many families could postpone the issue of acquiring housing for the future, and now they are not able to buy it because their age does not meet the criteria of a young family, the political scientist added.

“In this regard, I ask you to evaluate the feasibility of expanding the housing program for young families, namely, to include single parents and spouses under the age of 40 inclusive in applicants for state support who have a dependent child under the age of 14,” the statement reads. handling.
