On May 17, 2022, members of the Ukrainian armed formations shelled a border checkpoint in the urban-type settlement of Tyotkino in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region.

The territory of the sugar factory on the outskirts of this settlement was also subjected to mortar shelling, ”the message of the Investigative Committee in Telegram says.

It is noted that the border service of the FSB of Russia and the military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces returned fire.

Earlier, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said that communication, gas and electricity supply had been restored in the border Alekseevka after shelling by the Ukrainian army.
