He noted that the risk of forest fires in the region is increasing due to the onset of warm weather and increased outdoor recreation.
Over the past day, Russian fire services extinguished 86 natural fires on an area of 10.2 thousand hectares.
As URA.RU reported, the ban on visiting forests was extended in the Kurgan region until June.
