It is a decision that makes the left cringe.

The Ministry of the Interior refused to register the candidates under the label "New People's Ecological and Social Union" in view of the legislative elections.

Each candidate will therefore remain registered in his party of origin and the results will be individualized.

The alliance "Together!", support of the President of the Republic, which brings together En Marche, the MoDem, Horizons and Agir, is accepted.

However, the left-wing alliance now called the "New Popular Ecological and Social Union" (Nupes), which brings together La France insoumise, the Socialist Party, Europe Ecologie Les-Verts and the Communist Party, was not registered by the Ministry of the Interior.

Each candidate will therefore remain registered in his party of origin and the results will be individualized.

A real injustice for Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon threatens to resort to the Council of State

"They introduced their own nuance and not ours, why? So that, on the evening of the first round, they could reduce the breakthrough that we will have made!", Launched the president of La France insoumise.

"Because none of us is present in all the constituencies, and therefore we will have taken advantage of the circumstance to fool you!"

It's the same problem for speaking time.

If the candidates ask to belong to the Nupes shade, the prefectures risk classifying them in the "Miscellaneous Left" box and they will thus see their speaking time shared with the dissidents.
