A man armed with a knife caused panic this Monday evening at the Deuil-la-Barre station (Val-d'Oise).

Around 9 p.m., the individual threatened a policeman who was going to the police station.

Several people threatened

Witnesses to the scene then told the police that the suspect had previously threatened several people near the station.

The policeman who intervened was rushed to the hospital in Eaubonne for wrist pain.

The suspect, a 23-year-old man, was taken into custody for threatening with a weapon.

According to our colleagues, he was under the influence of alcohol and positive for narcotics at the time of the events.
