The trial day consisted of several interrogations via video link, as the trial was held in Sollentuna and not in Växjö for security reasons.

Several witnesses are people who happened to be in the vicinity of the area where the murder took place, but some witnesses are friends of the murdered man and one is his then girlfriend.

One of the friends tells that he was hanging out with the murdered man in Växjö on the evening of 10 September.

Then he saw a car which, according to the witness, was "aimed" at the murder victim.

However, he is unsure of who was in conflict with the victim.

- Know that he had problems with some, but he just said "do not worry", the witness says.

The girlfriend knew about the threats

The murder victim's girlfriend also says that she was aware that there was a threat against the victim, but that he did not take the threats seriously.

- He said that those who threatened were "children" and that there was nothing to worry about, she says.

An incident with a handwritten death threat, which states that a person should be "extinguished", is a recurring side track in the investigation.

The 19-year-old suspect wrote the note in custody and the plan was to get it out "to the boys", but the prison service found the note tucked into his sock.

The police initially suspected that the threat was directed at one of the witnesses, but the witness says he does not feel the threat.

Witness did not show up

A witness who would have appeared for questioning in the courtroom never came.

The witness must not have reported an impediment or any valid reason for not being present.

According to information, the witness is abroad.

- There are very many who have turned up, now the negotiations are not over so I hope that those who did not show up will do so, says prosecutor Emma Berge.

- I assume that the witnesses I want to be heard will be able to be heard, she says.

The witness will be picked up for questioning by police on Wednesday.
