• A 50-year-old, known for his closeness to far-right theses and opposition to health policy, was indicted on Monday for "murder".

  • Aged 50, Martial Lanoir is suspected of having shot and killed a young man after a brawl in Paris on the night of Friday to Saturday.

  • Follower of conspiracy theses, paranoid, he has become radicalized over time and admits to having “freaked out” at the time of the health crisis.

In the videos he posted on the Internet, Martial Lanoir listed his many obsessions.

The "scum", the Jews, the "sanitary dictatorship", the Freemasons... Frightened at the idea that a "civil war", wanted by "the Zionists, the politicians, the Crif" [Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France], broke out in France, the 50-year-old was always walking around with a Colt 45 model 1911 on him.

On the night of Friday to Saturday, in Paris, this conspiracy follower of far-right theses is suspected of having used it to shoot in the head a 27-year-old young man, of Moroccan and Spanish origin, who died on the spot.

Arrested by the police, he was indicted for murder on Monday evening and remanded in custody.

The facts took place boulevard de Clichy, in the 9th arrondissement.

According to the first elements of the investigation, a fight had just broken out, a little before 3 a.m., on the central reservation.

At the wheel of his gray BMW X5, Martial Lanoir stops and addresses one of the young people taking part in the brawl, asking him to stop.

Originally from the Clos-Miroir district in Poissy, in the Yvelines, the victim told him to "clear".

The young man ignores him, but the man who just shouted at him is armed.

And dangerous.

The latter, already known to the police and on file with the RPF [files of wanted persons], draws his handgun and shoots him in the head.

A racist motive?

Martial Lanoir gets back into his car and flees.

But the police warned by an informant of the crime that had just been committed were quick to find the vehicle, rue Championnet, in the 18th arrondissement.

On board, there is no one.

But a few moments later, a man dressed in beige fatigues, a red shirt and a dark cap walks towards the sedan.

Officials approach him.

Martial Lanoir has not decided to surrender so easily: he drops the luggage he is holding and grabs the weapon he was hiding in his belt and flees running towards rue Joseph De Maistre.

The police set off in pursuit.

Arrived rue Marcadet, they find the suspect squatting in a reinforcement.

His breathing is jerky.

He finally decides to comply, puts his weapon on the ground and lies down.

It is a little before 4 a.m. when the officers put him in handcuffs.

The police also apprehend a 51-year-old woman, who introduced herself as the companion of Martial Lanoir.

According to her, the couple was preparing to leave for the countryside.

An investigation was opened by the prosecution, entrusted to the 2nd judicial police district.

Why did the suspect open fire on the young man?

“It will be up to the instruction to determine whether the motive is racist or not, but it is legitimate to ask the question, explains to

“Decadence” of French society

The videos he posted on the Internet for ten years show how this extreme sympathizer gradually sank into an unparalleled deadly paranoia.

Born in February 1972 in Lure, Haute-Saône, Martial Lanoir grew up about thirty kilometers away, in a city in Vesoul.

"A pretty neighborhood full of immigrants", in which, he says, he suffered "anti-French racism from young butters, young Muslims".

He dropped out of school at 15 and learned “all kinds of trades”.

At that time, he was “the perfect leftist”.

"Anti border, pro immigration", he composes and plays the guitar, influenced by groups and musicians like Mano Negra, the Green Negresses or Manu Chao.

He leaves France, "because of the scum", and settles in Japan.

He marries a woman with whom he has a daughter.

It seems during this passage to the land of the rising sun that he rocks and begins to adhere to the theses of the extreme right.

He praises the former humorist Dieudonné and his acolyte Alain Soral, both condemned several times for having made anti-Semitic and negationist remarks.

The January 2015 attacks perpetrated by the Kouachi brothers and Amédy Coulibaly?

A blow, he claims, of the “secret services, the Mossad, the CIA” which are “at the service of Zionism”.

A misogynist, Lanoir denounces the “decadence” of French society and sees as proof of this the women who wear “shoulderless miniskirts”.

After being vaccinated against hepatitis B, he claims to have fallen ill.

Taken by “irrepressible anger”, Martial Lanoir becomes “unbearable”.

His Japanese wife asks for a divorce and refuses to let him see their child.

Back in France, in the summer of 2018, he treated himself with "medicinal plants found on a website", practiced "partial fasting".

He lives with his mother, lives on RSA, becomes a pizza maker.

In January 2020, he returns to Japan and tries to see his daughter by going directly to her school.

Arrested by the local police, he will spend 42 days in prison.

“Paper Pandemic”

His last return to France coincides with the start of the health crisis which he describes as a “paper pandemic”.

"Forced to wear a mask", he "loses the lead".

He was "already dissident to the Republic which is the work of the Freemasons", but this time he decided to mobilize.

He disturbs the program “Balance your post!

» presented by Cyril Hanouna denouncing a so-called « geronticide » committed by the injection of « Rivotril [an anxiolytic] without the knowledge of people ».

A dismantled conspiracy thesis, which he nevertheless develops in a song entitled “Rivo thrill”.

During the confirm, his paranoid delirium increases.

He wanders through the empty streets of Paris, microphone in hand, an amplifier on a cart.

He calls on the population to "insurrection", explaining that "the sole purpose of the health dictatorship,

it's to put a vaccine in our c… or under our skin”.

His call does not take, people being according to him "blind, deaf, lobotomized".

His conspiratorial delirium reached its peak last weekend.

According to the Marianne

newspaper

, three hours before the facts, Martial Lanoir sent a chilling message to the 51 subscribers of his Telegram channel.

Speaking about the funeral of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, the self-proclaimed “revisionist” called for the “elimination” of Jews.

“Until the last, I repeat, until the last of the last… Eliminate the cockroaches.

Eliminate the tick on peoples back.

Also according to the weekly, he admitted before the judge of freedoms and detention to have shot in the head of the young man, explaining simply to have a "problem with anger".

A few weeks after the murder of Federico Martin Aramburu, the far right has again sown death in the streets of Paris.
