A 50-year-old, known for his closeness to far-right theses and opposition to health policy, was indicted on Monday for "murder".
Aged 50, Martial Lanoir is suspected of having shot and killed a young man after a brawl in Paris on the night of Friday to Saturday.
Follower of conspiracy theses, paranoid, he has become radicalized over time and admits to having “freaked out” at the time of the health crisis.
In the videos he posted on the Internet, Martial Lanoir listed his many obsessions.
The "scum", the Jews, the "sanitary dictatorship", the Freemasons... Frightened at the idea that a "civil war", wanted by "the Zionists, the politicians, the Crif" [Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France], broke out in France, the 50-year-old was always walking around with a Colt 45 model 1911 on him.
On the night of Friday to Saturday, in Paris, this conspiracy follower of far-right theses is suspected of having used it to shoot in the head a 27-year-old young man, of Moroccan and Spanish origin, who died on the spot.
Arrested by the police, he was indicted for murder on Monday evening and remanded in custody.
The facts took place boulevard de Clichy, in the 9th arrondissement.
According to the first elements of the investigation, a fight had just broken out, a little before 3 a.m., on the central reservation.
At the wheel of his gray BMW X5, Martial Lanoir stops and addresses one of the young people taking part in the brawl, asking him to stop.
Originally from the Clos-Miroir district in Poissy, in the Yvelines, the victim told him to "clear".
The young man ignores him, but the man who just shouted at him is armed.
And dangerous.
The latter, already known to the police and on file with the RPF [files of wanted persons], draws his handgun and shoots him in the head.
A racist motive?
Martial Lanoir gets back into his car and flees.
But the police warned by an informant of the crime that had just been committed were quick to find the vehicle, rue Championnet, in the 18th arrondissement.
On board, there is no one.
But a few moments later, a man dressed in beige fatigues, a red shirt and a dark cap walks towards the sedan.
Officials approach him.
Martial Lanoir has not decided to surrender so easily: he drops the luggage he is holding and grabs the weapon he was hiding in his belt and flees running towards rue Joseph De Maistre.
The police set off in pursuit.
Arrived rue Marcadet, they find the suspect squatting in a reinforcement.

He lives with his mother, lives on RSA, becomes a pizza maker.
In January 2020, he returns to Japan and tries to see his daughter by going directly to her school.
Arrested by the local police, he will spend 42 days in prison.

His last return to France coincides with the start of the health crisis which he describes as a “paper pandemic”.
