In November, two small children, both under the age of ten, were found very badly injured outside an apartment building in Hässelby in western Stockholm. The police suspected early on that the children had fallen from a great height and the father was arrested on the same day on suspicion of the act. The trial against him is now ongoing.
One child died of his injuries, the other survived.
The father of the children is now facing trial for murder and attempted murder.
He has admitted that he stabbed his children and caused them to fall from a great height, but he admits the circumstances, not the crimes he is suspected of.
