Tomas Samir lives in Kista with his family, where the film Bullets, in which he participates, has largely been filmed. He came to Sweden from Egypt in 2017 and has since lived in the Järva area. Last year, he got the chance to debut as the main character in a film that depicts the youth recruitment to criminal gangs.
But the recordings were close to being interrupted when the artist Einár was murdered in October 2021. Tomas Samir's mother then became afraid that it was too risky to be from the suburbs and be young and famous.

The film Bullets will be shown on SVT in the autumn of 2022.
