Var.

The driver corresponded to a description of an individual wanted by the authorities, but he fled when the police tried to carry out a check.

A chase followed in the districts of Toulon, then along the A50, to Marseille, where the fugitive was arrested thanks to a stop stick, a device which allows tires to be punctured.

When he was arrested, after driving into a traffic light, without damage to him, the driver had a positive alcohol level.
