Tuesday evening on the Limoges floor, the players of TJ Parker signed an eleventh success in a row in Elite, going to win at Beaublanc 79 to 70, however, titillated for more than half an hour of play.
This 26th success of the regular season (for eight losses), ensures Asvel first place, ahead of Monaco and Boulogne-Levallois, both beaten on the last day, in Cholet (92-85) and at home against Paris ( 81-65).
The Roca Team finally takes 2nd place in the championship (25 wins), ahead of the Metropolitans 92 (24 wins).
The two clubs thus find themselves in the same half of the table and could find themselves in the semi-finals, if they manage to get rid of Strasbourg and Pau-Lacq-Orthez respectively in the quarters (best of three games).
Thanks to its victory against Monaco, in a Meilleraie in fusion and standing for a large part of the last quarter, Cholet snatched the last ticket for the play-offs and will challenge Asvel in the quarter-finals.
In the fight to maintain, the three teams concerned -Paris, Fos-sur-Mer and Orléans- won, respectively at Levallois (81-65), Dunkirk (90-87) and Portel (83-79) .
Successes which allow the Parisians (13 successes) and the Provenciaux (12 successes) to remain in the Elite, while Orléans (12 successes but an unfavorable difference compared to Fos) will accompany Châlons-Reims, relegated before the last day, in ProB next season.
