A strong swell

This weekend, the firefighters and the Aude prefecture had recommended "the greatest caution" on the coast, due to "a strong swell".

Swimming was strongly discouraged because the beaches are not yet supervised.

In Hérault, firefighters were dispatched to Agde around 6 p.m. on Sunday to try to find a 70-year-old man who had not returned home.

Research, undertaken by specialists in water rescue, made it possible to find the floating body of the septuagenarian, report the firefighters.
