The town hall of Courbevoie victim of crooks, a suspect kept in detention

This is the amount that was stolen from the town hall of Courbevoie (Hauts-de-Seine) by crooks in 2019. In May 2021, a 38-year-old Bulgarian was indicted in Nanterre for "organized gang fraud and aggravated bleaching”, before being imprisoned last October.

Accomplices who deny

In 2019, a man pretended to be a member of the collection service of the Eiffage company with the City, as part of construction work.

He had sent an invoice and the RIB of the company Bourgogne Bâtiment Construction (BBC) to the compatibility department of the municipality, which had made the transfer.

The examination of the accounts of the BBC had made it possible to arrest the Bulgarian national, who would have usurped the management of another company to pass the money.

Arrested in June 2021, his accomplices deny everything.
