The men are said to have sold cocaine, cannabis and tramadol tablets at various addresses in Halmstad.

The drug sale is said to have taken place via an encrypted chat service where the suspects reached out to over a thousand recipients.

The police have seized cartridges, pistols and shotguns that have been buried in various places in Halmstad.

- We have made various findings during the year and I would say that this is a very extensive case, says Mikael Höglin, group manager within the police in Halmstad, who worked with the case.

The men have connections to several different criminal networks in Gothenburg and Stockholm but also internationally, according to the police.

Organized crime

According to the prosecutor, the suspects, among other things, stored about 125 grams of cocaine and 51 drug-classified tablets under a bridge in Halmstad.

Gloves, bags, scales and other objects that are said to have been used to store and pack drugs were also found at the site.

Another 16 people, who are suspected of having bought drugs from the accused, are charged.

The trial is expected to last until mid-July.
