The incident occurred on February 7 this year in the area between Jönköping and Mullsjö.
A woman and her daughter were out for a walk with their dog and they had stopped at a field for coffee.
- The dog was hit by the shot and had to be killed.
The mother was hit by shrapnel in the foot and the bullet went through one of the daughter's shoes.
She was not injured, but her mother was injured.
They were sitting on a seat pad at the edge of a field while the dog ran loose nearby, about 170 meters from the house, says chamber prosecutor Emma Harrius, who led the preliminary investigation in a press release.

Police have conducted several crime scene investigations at the scene to try to determine the course of events.
