A police officer stationed at the Champigny-sur-Marne police station (Val-de-Marne) will be tried on June 1 by the Créteil criminal court for sexual and moral harassment of four female colleagues.

The criminal investigation began when one of the officials seized the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IPGN) in the fall of 2021, following an internal disciplinary procedure, said a judicial source.

With three other policewomen, peacekeepers or security assistants, she accuses this brigadier, their hierarchical superior, of having made "comments" between 2017 and 2021 and made "jokes" with "sexual connotations" and around their personal lives, and for having made "very serious advances".

The brigadier would have left the police station

After several refusals to his advances, the 34-year-old brigadier would have become “unpleasant” and would have humiliated his colleagues.

Aged 23 to 33, the four women quickly requested their brigade transfer while remaining in the Champigny-sur-Marne police station.

For his part, after a disciplinary procedure which earned him a "reprimand", the brigadier would have left the police station only a few weeks ago.
