A man in his forties was arrested after a chase on the A49 between Valence and Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme), this Saturday.

The suspect, already known to justice, was on board a stolen vehicle, reports France Bleu Drôme Ardèche.

He refused to submit to a police check.

Harrows were used to burst the tires of his car.

The suspect was taken into police custody, a measure extended for 24 hours on Sunday.
