The Syrian police announced today, Monday, the killing of three Syrian citizens in the explosion of two explosive devices in the village of Al-Darkhibiya in the Damascus countryside.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a source in the Damascus Countryside Police Command as saying that "an explosive device placed by terrorists in a car in the village of al-Darkhibiya exploded this morning, followed shortly by the explosion of another device near the site of the first explosion, which caused the death of three citizens."

The source added that "the explosion of the two bombs also caused material damage to the cars."
