Israeli police forces, with the participation of members of the far-right, attacked Palestinian students during an event commemorating the Nakba at Tel Aviv University inside the Green Line, today, Sunday.

Video clips show the assault by members of the Israeli right who raised the Israeli flags on the students, with strict protection from the occupation forces, which attacked the students and also assaulted a number of them with beatings and shoving, and arrested others.

Dozens of university students went out in an event to commemorate the Nakba and raised Palestinian flags high and chanted enthusiastic and patriotic slogans.

On Sunday, Tel Aviv University students sang the occupied Green Line, the national anthem, during an event commemorating the Palestinian Nakba.

Students raised Palestinian flags in large numbers, amid enthusiastic and patriotic chants, despite Israeli police attempts to suppress and disperse the event.

Today, Palestinians in the Palestinian territories and in the diaspora are commemorating the seventy-fourth anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba under the slogan "Enough of 74 of injustice and double standards."

In a statement, the Palestinian Council of Ministers called on the Palestinian public, institutions and ministries to participate in the activities to commemorate the Nakba, especially in the return march, which will start this morning from the tomb of the late Palestinian President Yasser Arafat in Ramallah and head to Al-Manara Square in the city center to hold a central festival on the occasion of the Nakba commemoration and the sound of whistles.
