In several areas, there was a threat of fire moving from the forest to settlements and economic facilities.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire," the statement said.
It is noted that all resources have been mobilized in the region.
More than 4,000 people and 1,100 pieces of equipment are involved.
“The territories are patrolled around the clock, and if fires are detected, they promptly start extinguishing them.
Monitoring is carried out using satellites, drones, video surveillance and aviation,” the press service added.
Earlier it was reported that more than 30 landscape fires have occurred in Gorny Altai since the beginning of the year.
